Got it from Bodybuilding.com I also bought the Fat Track II, what I don't like about them is the lack of documentation on how to use them properly. I've never used calipers before and I was not able to find good samples/images (besides the cheesy line drawings that I saw on some sites) of how exactly use them accurately. Jesuswon April 8th, 2005, 02:44 PM I also bought the Fat Track II, what I don't like about them is the lack of documentation on how to use them properly. I've never used calipers before and I was not able to find good samples/images (besides the cheesy line drawings that I saw on some sites) of how exactly use them accurately. I didn't do a search on the proper way of measuring body fat with calipers ... I will do so but also make a new thread. Sock April 8th, 2005, 05:07 PM I've been using one for about a year. While I don't put a lot of faith in the actual number it gives me (it seems to read fairly low), it does seem to be consistant so I can use it as a relative value. Like John, I average the FT II value with the values from my bio-impedance scale and the neck/waist measured Navy formula. I still take this average with a grain of salt, but as long as the number is moving down I'm happy. |
