Those of you that supplement with flax oil, any particular brand and where do you buy it? Should I be able to find flax oil in the supermarket or a health store or do I need to look for it on a bodybuilding site?

I'm about to go out and buy some today myself and I'm guessing you can get it at any health food store or maybe even a grocery store. I think it comes in pill and liquid form.

I'll let you know.

We buy a brand called "Barleans". We buy the big bottle from our local health food market, and the proprietor always cuts us a deal on it since we shop there so much. I think the bottle runs us $25 or so. I like this particular brand due to its lignan content. I'm not sure if there's a real quality issue with flax oils, as I've used everything from the bargain-basement no-name cheapie to the brand name we use now... but the Barlean's seems to work well for us, so we're stickin' to it.

I use Udo's Choice (http://www.udoerasmus.com/products/oil_blend.htm) which you can typically find in a Whole Foods, or some better supplement shops.

Thanks guys. I'll stop at my local health food store and see if I can find some Barleans or Udo's choice. Mason, thanks-if you get this in time, try to look for the oil. I think it's a better value for your money.

Wherever you buy it, make sure it is kept refridgerated and the store looks like it sells enough so the stock isn't ancient.

Ok-will do. thanks. Looking at Udo's website, a place down the street from me sells the Udo's choice brand. So, I'll buy that soon.
