I am a teacher, and the only time I have to eat a decent meal during the day is during lunch. Problem is, I am STARVING before lunch! I usually eat a bowl of cheerios or two eggs in the morning, but by the time first period starts, the tummy is rumbly again. Can someone suggest healthy snack foods that are quick and accessible? I have two minutes between each double period (aka 82 minutes) to munch on something, since I cannot eat during class (I teach chorus, so no food in the mouth while singing!) I am unable to eat carrots, oranges, or nuts (for various reasons). I think if I can start eating healthy snack foods, I will stay away from the bag of onion rings or cheese doodles that I tend to buy come lunch time.

I would eat the bowl of Cheerios AND the two eggs (or one) in the morning.

Eat something with fiber in the morning, like a big bowl of oatmeal, I have a cup in the morning and it keeps me full for quite some time. As for eating in chorus you might be able to pick up those snack pack cottage cheese things, they come in a yogurt type cup, its small and it's a great snack that wont get stuck in your teeth! Also bring a bottle of water that should help in between breakfast and lunch. Just sip on it when you feel hungry.

Definitely get in more calories in your breakfast meal. String cheese is a great snack. have two of those, you can eat those quickly. or have a protein bar in your desk or something, eat half of that, or all of it. The really soft ones you can eat pretty quickly.

I usually keep almonds and raisins in a Ziploc bag in the car when I am out doing stuff and will need a snack. Bananas can be eaten quickly.

-carrots, celery, broccoli, etc. with some low-fat dip
-fruit, such as a banana or apple and a tbsp peanut butter

-high fiber cereal in a little baggy

Diet soda...0 calories, and the carbonation really kills the hunger.
Roast Beef wrapped in a slice of low salt provolone cheese.

Eat a bigger breakfast.

Say, the cheerios and the eggs, see how it works, if it doesn't, try adding a slice of whole wheat bread to the eggs or something.
