I know a lot of people suggest that tuna is good for you and all but I can't stand the taste and smell. I just ate half of Flaked Light Tuna with some salad and it was pretty disgusting. Anything I can add to it or replace it with?

Also how bad is thin crust pizza? I'm pretty much forced to eat it at the moment because thats what my parents got and the only real thing left in the fridge for tonight.

This is what I'm talking about

Delissio Thin Crust Pizza

Now you can enjoy the fresh-baked Delissio taste on a deliciously thin crust. Delissio Thin Crust is light and crispy from edge to centre. Discover the perfect balance of toppings and crust. One bite and you'll savour the flavour of our quality ingredients -- a zesty tomato sauce, fine cheeses, select meats and premium vegetable toppings. Enjoy the taste of pizzeria pizza from your oven!

I'm trying to eat clean but I can't do it 100% because I don't fully control what my parents buy. I will try to convince them to get more healthy choices in the future.

If it's all you have to eat, it's all you have to eat. Unless you're going to go to the store and buy something else, then go ahead. It's not a great meal, for there is a lot of processed and enriched carbs in the crust, and a fair amount of saturated fat off of the cheese. The important thing for you to do though is try to prevent this from happening again. I'm going to be living at home this summer, and I'm just going to keep a personal stash of food in the downstairs fridge. Some cottage cheese, bananas, lettuce, tomato, some chicken, etc. to eat when the prepared meal isn't looking too healthy. Eating this pizza you showed us now and then isn't going to dramatically affect you. Eating food like that and it's equivalent everyday however, WILL cause problems.
So if you don't feel that bad, eat some of the pizza (don't pig out), and then move on and continue to eat healthy afterwards.

Yes, sometimes when you're living with your parents you're kind of forced into eating things that aren't so good. But, like the previous poster said, watch your portion size and try to eat healthier for the rest of your meals.

As for the taste of tuna. Well, honestly, sometimes you just have to deal with bad taste. I mean, if you're only eating it once a day it's not like the bad taste will kill you. Just have a piece of fruit afterwards to get the taste out. As for other things besides tuna that are good sources of protein without much fat, you could try soy. They sell a lot of soy burgers and stuff like that in most grocery stores. In the organic foods section you can find these fungus burgers that are supposed to taste like chicken, they're really good.

Thanks for advice, I split my pizza up so I ate each slice hours apart. Not sure if that did anything but I don't feel bloated like I ussually do after a couple of slices. I'm going to fully transform my diet in April, now I'm just dividing my normal food and trying to eat smaller portions every 2-3 hours.

Chicken comes in a can, too, with all the convenience of tuna in a can.

I live with my parents and thank god they fully support what I'm doing, they go out of the way to buy the "healthy" foods i need and to get my protein and such. But you can probably go for canned chicken, thats got to be similar, can't say i've had it before so I have no idea what it taste like but I'm sure it wont taste like tuna, and I admit tuna is boring.
