For doing squats the other day, I have doms now, but only on my right part of my butt? Does this mean I used very bad form and now I'm gonna build a weird butt? (only part of it is gonna get worked?)

Best of luck. :d_biggrin LarryNC March 28th, 2005, 12:44 PM Ha ha ha :-) dam well We'll see when I get 8% fat if I have a weird looking butt :) Wilderbeast March 28th, 2005, 12:52 PM You proberbly prefatigued the right part of your butt doing ...... Something  Methodx March 28th, 2005, 03:26 PM Yes, it means you are going to have an enormous, muscular right butt cheek while your left will be withered and small! Just face the ladies with your right cheek (this can be accomplished by walking circles around the lady of your choice) to show of your muscle and you'll be fine. Method (Just kidding) betastas March 28th, 2005, 04:57 PM It means you probably took more strain with the right glut than you did with the left one. Our bodies want to distribute weight according to the strongest muscles, not necessarily symmetrically. What happened is either you had bad form and manually shifted the weight wrong, or you had a lot of weight on the bar (I'm not sure of your lifting style, MAX-OT perhaps?) and you shifted more to your right side when pushing up. It happens sometimes. I find that my calves are notorious for that, with my left one being underpowered. Just remember to consciously watch what you're doing and feel for any shifting of the weight, and then remedy it. |
