I realize the importance of training legs & would like to exercise them more at home (I know, I may have to get a gym pass again someday to do them properly) but over the years I've done my share of regular squatting & it really seems to make my waist just waaaay too thick.
Anybody else have this concern & if so what exercises do you do without the fancy gym equipment.
Thanks a bunch,
G

I've had my waist down to around 31"@ 165
Coming down from 242lbs.
All the while I was squatting, deadlifting, heavy crunches (120x10 at the time)..140x10 at a fixed weight...now) and sidebends 120x8...That's the way the old timers did...train for strength...it's in the diet , for me anyway.
At 242 my waist was 45"
