I'm taking a week off from weight-training between cutting and bulking and half the week off from cardio. How important is it to eat clean during this time? I'm beginning my bulk the first Monday of April. I'll be away from home the Thursday through Sunday immediately prior. My eating won't be too bad. definitely not oreos and M & Ms at every meal  . I figure I can keep it fairly healthy. I just won't have as much control as I do at home. I don't care too much about a slight fat gain during this time, but I do want my muscles to get some much needed rest and my body to be replenished and energized. thanks,

Justin

Go for it. It may help you stay disciplined on your bulk if you get the bad eating out of the way beforehand. You may suprise yourself though. I find if I'm eating clean for a good period of time and then cheat for a day or so, I feel like such crap that I go back to eating clean sooner than anticipated.
Enjoy

Thanks for the input. I'll keep the eating pretty good during the week off to make sure I'm getting good nutrition for recovery but I won't stress over it too much. If anyone has anything to add, it's much appreciated.
