Yea, how many sets do you do targeting a specific area. IE, how many sets on biceps, how many on triceps. Also, please post including warmup if you do one.

Are you looking for strength, explosive power, hypertrophy, local muscular endurance? What is your history. Are you doing compound movements that already involved the biceps or doing an isolation workout with the biceps alone? What phase of your periodization program are you in - general strength, specific strength, hypertrophy, etc? Are you doing a high volume phase or targetting the arms with a slower tempo? There is no right answer for this. I do 2 sets some workouts, 10 sets another. Jeremy Yea, how many sets do you do targeting a specific area. IE, how many sets on biceps, how many on triceps. Each workout i do 2 muscle groups, 2 warmup sets in total and around 8-12 working sets, on the second set i do the same weight or heavier but never go backwards as in drop sets. |
