Since I have a lower back injury I have been told to up my lower ab exercises. 1st off...it is probably my least favorite body part to work (wouldn't ya know it!) and the only exercise I can think of involves the Roman Chair (torture device! ) and laying down with my legs in the air and lifting my butt off the table (not my fav either :d_rolleye )

Do y'all happen to know any new and hopefully more interesting exercises that target the lower abs? I have a stability ball I like to use and of course my gym has all the regular equipment.

I am taking a week off from the gym, but would like to get started at home.

Thanks!

Lie on the ball- face down- walking out on your hands like you're about to do push-ups. Using your legs/feet, roll/pull the ball up towards you, bending knees and pulling feet under you, then extend back...

lie on your back with the ball between your lower legs. Lift up your legs and arms and grab the ball, then lower back down, then lift up and put the ball back between your legs. That's one rep. It's killer.
