Well this is less a way of keeping track for myself, or showing others what I'm doing than just a way to keep myself motivated. I just turned 18, and after finishing my last season of soccer I added over 10 lbs of fat. I plan to lose all that aquired weight, and a little more. Both for my health, and to just look badass. I've tried to mostly model myself after what John has done, including tracking my intake with an excel sheet. My biggest obstacle is eating healthy at my own house. Of my Father, Mother, brother and sister, only my Mother and I are commited to a healthy lifestyle. It really can be hard to reach past that bottle of pepsi for a bottle of water or to open the fridge for some vegetables instead of the tub of chocolate chip ice cream. But I think if i can succeed in losing this weight, it'll be all the more satisfying knowing how much will power and determination I had to use.
I actually started trying to cut about a week before I saw John's site while looking for information. Since then I'm down to 165 lbs, which is a decent loss. I just started my new job at Sears as a cashier, so once I begin to recieve my paychecks I plan on ordering some Whey Protein and a membership at Gold's gym since I can't always get into the school weight room.
Starting Weight- 176 lbs (February 8th, 2004)
Current Weight- 165.5 lbs (February 21st, 2004)
Current Daily Intake Goal- 1600 calories/day w/ a 40/40/20 ratio.
I plan on posting my measurements here soon. Hopefully including body fat %.
This is going to be my weekly training routine.
Monday- Biceps/Triceps
Tuesday- Cardio/Abs
Wednesday- Chest/Shoulders
Thursday- Cardio/Abs
Friday- Legs :D
Saturday- Cardio/Abs
Sunday- Rest
My current plan is to be 150 lbs or less by Spring Break (April 2-10th I believe). Which I know is a complete possiblity considering I have already dropped over 10 lbs in about 2 weeks.
