I am 6'2ft 160lbs, 20 soon to be 21 and just really got serious about workingout. I was wondering what type of protein bars/drinks should I be eating. There are so many out there that it is frustrating choosing one. My meals is well taking care of, its the supplements that I need help with. I was also wondering is creatine a nessecity.

P.S If anyone can help I would really appreciate.

1. "Is creatine a nessecity?" - Absolutely not. It's a SUPPLEMENT, something which adds. That being said it's one of the things out there that does work to help increase strenght (it also adds some water weight) If you are just getting serious about workingout then you absolutely don't need it.

2. "What type of protein bars/drinks should I be eating? My meals is well taken care of." 1st I can't think of any good protein bars. 2nd What are you using the protein supplement for? Have you computed your protein needs? If you can get that much protein through "real food" then I would only use a whey/dextrose product post work out. Maybe a casein product before bed. Do you just need to add more protein? Once you figure out what you need and why you need it then there are flavor and price constraints.

If you just need a whey supplement I'de get the cheapest, best tasting you can find. At this point in your journey the different quality levels aren't going to make that big a difference.
