I know that drinking too much coffee is equal to too much caffeine, which is not good, right? I've heard that you should limit yourself to 2 cups of regular coffee daily. But what's the limit for decaffenated coffee?

Depends on what you are looking for? Some people use caffeine as a stimulate to increase metabolism and fat loss. I have employed ECA stacks where in the morning, my caffeine came from coffee. Drank as much as necessary to reach the amount of caffeine that I wanted.
In terms of decaf, I know of no reason to limit the intake other than if you put cream and sugar in. I believe that the calories in a cup of black decaf is very low. The could be some concerns of what had to be done to pull the caffeine out of the coffee in the first place, but I haven't heard too much about that in several years.

No, I'm not looking for the "kick" from caffeine. In fact, I'm avoiding it... Coffee seems to calm me somehow... So I think drinking decaf is ok, right? I only add splenda to it

I'm sure that any amount of decaf is fine. It essentially has no caffeine or calories. Splenda is only one gram of carbs because of the filler. Nothing to worry about.
