Hey guys,

I'm wondering what do i need to do for more definition in my arms. I'm currently doing a 5 day split with max-ot. Can i get "cut" so to speak using max-ot, or is it more for bulking. I was also under the impresson cutting is high reps, lower weight, the opp of max-ot. I'm in college so my diet is hard to control and i'm not sure exactly what i'm taking in. What bicep exercise is best for definition. Don't get me wrong, i have definition, but mainly only after a work out, how can i get that tighter look without flexing. I'm 5'11 150 so still gaining weight. Also i'm on a creatine rotation right now, is that water retention, making my arms appear less defined.

Thanks Peter

it is all about body fat %

cardio + calorie deficit diet = cut (when you get BF to 10% or less)

muscle's and washboard abs are made in the kitchen bro, not the gym!

diet is a HUGE part of the game.

max ot will get you ripped, if thats what your goal is

yup there's only two simple factors

1 - build your muscles big enough to show
2 - lose the fat that is covering them

with only one or the other you won't get the look, but most important is simply losing the fat, even someone with relatively poor muscle conditioning will look muscly and cut if they have super low body fat.

I'm in college so my diet is hard to control and i'm not sure exactly what i'm taking in. Get a job and buy your food so you can have some control. Stop eating in the cafeteria, if you are. Spreadsheets are free. I find the "college defense" weak ;)

It's not the state of "being in college" that makes it hard to control your diet. It's the state of being "young and undisciplined" that makes it hard to control your diet. We were all there, it's just a question of how long you stay.

If you haven't noticed, there are significantly different diets for cutting and bulking, so decide which way you're going before loading up on groceries.

I've been cutting while on Max-OT for the last 3 weeks. I am also a college student, but I live in an apartment this year, so I make EVERYTHING I eat now. Those dining halls were terrible for my diet.

Anyway, I eat roughly 1700-1800 calories/day on pretty much a 45/35/25 split (P/C/F) and I do cardio (HIIT for 27 mins) 3-4 days a week. Usually at 6:45am on empty stomach.

My results so far have been great. My lifts are still going up and my body fat is coming down (so it looks).

Thanks for the replys guys,

I guess i have to commit myself to a cutting phase to get ripped. Right now i'm muscular, but still think i need to eat alot to gain muscle. Any ideas, or sites to look at for diets for cutting, should i wait till i get to 160 then cut? Is it possible to not really lose much weight but cut at the same time.

Thanks

Peter
