I tried searching the threads and this is the advice I came up with:

1. Lose weight at the rate of 1-2 lbs a week. (which I am doing)

2. Drink lots of water to keep skin moisturized (which I try to do but I only get up to 3/4 a gallon a day and that's a struggle.)

3. Use cocoa butter on skin --any suggestions of where to get? or product ot recommend

4. Use cocoa butter with vitamin E. I take a lot of vitamin E internally. Does anyone have a suggestion about a lotion or cream with both cocoa butter and vitamin e--with sufficient quantities.

Any other recommendations?

Below is stuff I use that I find works extremely effectively.

5. I use a body lotion that has glycolic acid in it that is very effective in making my skin smooth but I can only use it once to twice a week. See this link here Gly Derm (http://www.4derm.com/drpierce/glyderm.asp) Their products really work--not one of these phony things. I use the Body Lotion 10% on my body, the Lotion Plus 10% and the Lotion Lite Plus 10% on my face and have for years--it is unbelievable how it works. You can now scour the internet for much lower prices--I used to pay full price at my dermatologist which used ot be th eonly place you could get it. Right now, they are out of stock on some of my items and you have to wait until mid march to order.

6. I use Dermologica's Exfoliating Body scrub 1-2 a week. I also use their Total eye care spf 15 daily, and their skin smothing cream during fall, winter & spring and active moist during summer as a facial moisturizer and ultra senstivie face block spf 25 as a facial sunscreen when I am not wearing make-up. Their products really work but be careful--it is really easy to get carried away adn order stuff that you don't really need. Here is a link Dermologica (http://www.dermalogica.com/default2.asp?region=?&location=?) Again, scour the internet for best prices.
