I am having a problem with Max OT program, which I started last week...

I don't have a rack to do squats! I realize how important they are, and dont' want to avoid doing it, so is there something else I can do until I can get one? Today (legs day) I just did some weighted lunges...

Do you have a barbell? You could do hack squats instead. They will hit your quads more and your back won't get quite the workout, but they are better than no squats.

You could also do single leg squats w/ dumbbells (aka Bulgarian Split Squats). Those are really challenging.

can I do the squats with dumbbells? I know it's probably not the same effect.
