I need advice, today was my reglar cheat day, so today i took in about 2000 cals worth of cheat meals...Unfortunatly aftr everything i ate today i remembered that Valentines Day is Monday. I have reservations at a Fondu Restaurant since my GF chose it...now i know fondu isnt the healthiest or even in the health column of food, so i decided to contnue my diet tommorrow and all throughout Monday but i think the night wil be my fall. I know this will add the water-weight but just to be sure, will i be alright? or will this cause an effect because i will have 2 cheat days close to one another?

In the long run, it won't make any difference at all. Say you go completely insane and eat an extra 3500 calories that you don't burn off. You've added one pound, at the worst. Just get right back on the wagon Tuesday and don't worry over it. If you're feeling particularly guilty, skip next Friday's cheat meal. This time next month, your body won't know the difference.

its valentines day, just enjoy it and write it off as one of the important things you need to do to keep your life in balance and your partner happy.

it will most probably have an effect on your next week weight in, but it will have no effect on your monthly goal if you keep the rest of your training and nutritional goals in check for the rest of the month.

bottom line, have a great time.

I would wager a guess that a bit of extra water weight and potentially a smidgen of fat is acceptable if it means not admitting that you forgot about Valentine's Day

Besides, all major eating holidays are diet-free zones. Like Christmas, and such.

Hehe - I knew you were a female just from the tone of that post ;) Yeah, admitting that little slip-up might not be a good idea.

No, one extra day in the grand scheme of things won't derail you or set you back any, just burn off those calories with all of the extra curricular activities you'll be enjoying with your girl friend after dinner...
