I know that the common carb cycle is a high/medium/low, but with my current routine I wouldn't think that's feasable. I lift Mon/Wed/Fri and do cardio the other days. I just don't think I could do weights on a low carb day which is inevitable. Not enough energy. But what about high carbs on weight days and low carbs on cardio days? I can handle walking on a treadmill for 45 minutes on a no carb stomache fine, but I can't lift a weight for shit. Would this high day/low dayhighday/lowday work as well as the 3 day setup?

I don't recommend low carb, it might sound like a fantastic diet trick but it probably doesn't work as well for everybody.

Why not eat a steady diet with good carbs like oatmeal, say, about 160/180 grams. It will make dieting much more pleasant, and will probably work just as good or even better.

Yeah, I already do roughly 200-250 grams of carbs a day. My results have been fairly good (although inconsistant, but that can related to the facts that I conciously will take a weekend off from dieting every 2 months and binge just for the mental sake). I just pondered the idea of a cycle just to trick my body and keep it from plateauing of a constant similar amount of macros every day...
