I am lying on the ground doing leg lifts. I do 2 sets of 15 very slowly. It is easy. How can I add weight to my legs (I dont think 2 pound ankle weights will last more than a week.

I grab a small dumbell between my feet.
Also, you can do the leg lifts on a flat bench. You can let your legs fall below 180 degrees and get more out of each rep.

I used to tie plates between my shoes with my laces.
