Having problems finding an online store or a local distributor that sales the Parabody Rack System with the options.

Life Fitness's website has only two places listed and both are 2 hrs away. Which doesn't matter since, neither place has responded to my emails or returned my calls on pricing and availablity for the rack system.

843 Rack System
874 Multi-Angle Bench
824 Leg curl/extension attachment
844 Lat pulldown/low row attachment
842 Dip Handles
886 Arm Curl Attatchment

On the other hand, I've had no problem finding Powertec's Rack System online. I'm tempted to order it since, I can't find a Parabody distributor.

From all the reviews and comments on here, both racks will do the job and seem to be the most recommended. Parabody, from my understanding, being the better quality of the two and has some additional pros about it. If I need to consider something else, please let me know.

If anyone has any distributor info (for North Carolina) or online websites I can check out, please let me know.

Thanks... :)

My experience was that Parabody has a price-fixing arrangement with their distributors. I couldn't find a deal -- others on the forum with better negotiating skills have gotten a bit of a discount, though. YMMV.

Can't help on distributors, but if you need it shipped you may want to contact Life Fitness directly and see if they can recommend a distributor who'll ship it. Might as well get it from out of state to save on sales tax in that case.

In order to order through Omnifitness, do you need to be local to one of their retail stores? Seems like the closest one is 364mi away. :d_frown:

One of Lifefitness's distributors here finally contacted me so, I'm waiting on a quote.

Have a feeling I may just order a Powertec setup since, the Parabody appears to be too much of hassle to find or find a deal on.

I assume the stores below are reputable?

Thanks again for the replies.

Here is the site for Parabody http://us.home.lifefitness.com/

I almost went with one of their systems but then decided on the Pro Spot 500 because I mostly workout at home without a spotter early in the morning. Neat piece of equipment
