View Full Version : An experiment...

I just started an experiment. I got the idea after thinking how insane strong my legs are.

I rarely do any weightlifting because of the size of my legs - all I do is bike a lot, minimum 40 mins a day, 5 days a week - yet when I do work out, I tend to empty the gym for weights - easily 4-500kg legpress.

Anyway, I placed some weights in the hallway, and every time I pass them, I "have to" do 20 push-ups, 20 sit-ups and lift the weights 15 times.

The idea? to see if I benefit from that kind of workout rather than the intensive workouts I do at the gym.

Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Yeah, try it and see what happens. It's your body and you're going to have to experiment to see what helps you achieve the goals you want.

Leg Press is a pretty easy exercise to do heavy weights with. As long as you go full Range Of Motion on the exercise, I see a lot of people who move it about 4 inches and add more weight.

I'm an ex bodybuilder, so I think I know how to do it properly :flex:

I'm sorry I didn't see ex bodybuilder in your screen name.
I'm just saying there are a lot of beginners on this board.
