View Full Version : help, need some sort of morning energy boost

I used to work out but i stopped about 3 months ago, and i see my chest getting flabby again. All my gains are now almost lost but i cant seem to get motivated in the morning to get up and go to the gym. I feel tired my back hurts my eyes are all dry and sometimes even headaches, i just feel like doing nothing at all and i hate it.

Id really like to start doing cardio again in the morning and just get a total workout going on over the course of the week, so is there any sort of diet i should look into, possibly some sort of protien shake? Thanks for any input people.

There was a similar thread that popped up last week. I think the consensus was that you just have to reach deep down and find the motivation to do it.

Some other suggestions are to go to bed earlier. Even non-fasted cardio is better than none, so you could do that. I drink caffienated green tea in the morning to get some wake up juice in me at work, perhaps you could try that?

Boils down to just making yourself get up, splashing some water on your face, and doing it, doing it, doing it. Once you start, it may become habit and easier to stick to.
