hey fellas, im tring to cut fat(not get chiseled)but tone up, and i read from another thread to eat an even amount of carbs throughout your day. My question is my roomamtes are big guys and they recommended to me that if i wanted to lose fat i should not eat any carbs, only protien, on my post workout meal. If any of you guys can tell me which advice is right i would greatly appreciate it

You need to read a lot and experiment a lot with your diet. A lot of trainees find themselves to be very carb sensitive so they might elimintate a lot of their carbs.

But as far as PWO, yes they are correct you should definitely be utilizing a high carb and moderate protein shake immediately after training (it doesn't have to be a shake, but I find shakes to be the best).

I would take 90grams of dextrose and 30 grams of protein after workout, I discovered that was way too much dextrose for me, so now my pwo is 50grams Dextrose and 40grams of isolate.

I figure to just post in here because it goes along with this.

It's for us that have to work out in the evening because we cant in the morning.
So say i work out and i finish at 8pm. i take a dextrose/whey shake because i want to feed my muclses and max benefit.
but after that I kinda dont wanna have another meal with carbs because im going to sleep say 2.5 hours after working out maybe 3 hours. to get up again at 5am.
I personally dont think the complex carbs before bed would be that bad but I really want to cut up and so im thinking after the shake, about 1.5 hours later having a protein fat meal before bed. like some cottage cheese and mable a little peanut butter.
I wondered what peopel thought of this? or any ideas for pwo but later at nite closing in on bed time.
