I just recieved four bottles of 8mg ephedrine (50ct) in the mail, along with a bottle of 200mg caffein (100ct). Now I've read some of the threads here but I just want to have my say before I kill myself (knowwhatimean?).

I guess I'm going to start off with one of each in the morning, and ramp it up from there. Do people usually take it several times/day? I dont want to get too wired and be up all night,. so would it be a sound idea to take the ephedrine without caffein in the afternoon? 200mg seems like a lot of caffein but I could be mistaken,. never taken it straight before.

I see people are taking much higher doses of ephedrine then I am so I dont really have much to worry about, but what kind of doses have you guys found to be effective without overdoing it?

btw, I am at 12%bf. I'd like to get down to 9% or so before I start a bulking phase. Does it get dangerous at lower bf levels?

When I wrote this, I took one tab of ephedrin to test it out. I already had a latte today so I think I had the caffein covered. Almost immediatly I started to feel strange. Within half an hour, I felt jittery and physically nervous.

A few hours later I felt calm,. was almost ready to pass out, in fact, but I had to be somewhere in a few hours so I decided to hit the gym and do cardio. I found I had to go easy or my heart would race,. on the treadmill I got my heart up to 180 without even feeling it,. I could have pushed much harder, but instead turned it down and tried to keep my heart rate under 170. My heartrate is normally kinda high (often in 80s when resting, jumping up to 100 sometimes just by moving around). I guess i have to take it easy, but it felt so good to run,..

Well I really didnt like the nervous feeling but I will stick with it and hope that my body adjusts.

your call i guess :d_confuseOh. I was ready to pass out because I only got 3-4 hours of sleep the night before,. not because of the stack. The point of saying I was ready to pass out was that, once I started exercizing, I felt totally energetic again.

My biggests concern is how easy it was to get such a high heartrate. I'm still unclear what the dangers of this are.

Guess I'm not really getting any better answers so I'm just gonna have to wing it.

I do not take any ephedrine (although have considered it in the past), but in my research, 8mg is an ok dose to start with . Many suggest taking it once in the morning before workout and then later around 2.5 or so. The usual full dose is something like 25 mg. The nervousness and jitters are supposed to stop after your body gets used to it, although the effect is the same. Once you stop feeling those, do not think you need to take more or it could get dangerous. The side effects get less over time, but the thermogenic effects better. Again, I'm no expert and have never taken ephedrine, but this is what I have read. Take it for what it is worth, and be safe, Jeremy

Take it for what it is worth, and be safe, JeremyThanks. That is my intention.

Today I did some cardio after taking an afternoon dose of EC (took one in the morning as well). When working out, it was far too easy to get my heartrate way up. I did 45 minutes on the eliptical keeping it between 150-160, without trying at all. I then jumped on the treadmill (as I usually do), and put it at 6, which is a little low for me. I felt great, very energetic, and I could have pushed much harder, but my heart rate was, at times, edging over 180.

Now I can handle this. But I really would have liked to run my ass off (I really enjoy 15 or so minutes of high intensity running to top off a long session on the eliptical). But my heart rate would have continued to go up. I felt like I could easily get it over 200.

My Questions:

What are the risks of working my heart like that?
And why, exactly, do people work their heart at 70%-80%, not higher?

I'm going to ask my doctor about my high heartrate, but I thought I'd ask you guys first.

the first time you take any stimulant its going to have the greatest noticeable effect.

good call on going to the doctor, i went to the doctor before i started taking it. i have a great realationship with my doctor and told him what im doing. got my heart rate and pressure checked, i was definatly fine. no family history of heart problems at all.

he told me im fine, just not to abuse it.

another thing to note, some people respond totally different to stimulants. some people can get greater side affects. sticking with 8mg and 100mg of caffiene is a good place to start. than up that to 200mg caffiene

just go see your doctor and tell him what your doing.

you should be fine, just paranoid :) placebo affect of the mind can do alot more than you think
