So I'm in college and its hard to keep track of adding things up. Especially when you dont have time to write it all down and look up the nutrition information. I thought of doing this method and was wondering if anyone else does anything similar? Anyhow...Ill eat between the hours of 730am and 830pm. Thats 13 hours. I'll devide that into three parts: 730-12, 12-430, 430-830. I weigh 230 lbs and I'm 6'1'', and I'm trying to cut. I figure Ill estimate 700 cals for each of the three "zones". Anyone think this will be affective? Let me know.

It's really not that hard to count calories. At least after the first 2 weeks. After you look up your foods once you won't have to do it again. And then all you really need is a pen and paper and a calculator if your dumb like me. I keep my training log and nutrition log all in the same notebook and when i'm at the gym I just write everything down in b/w sets.

I'd say whatever works. But you do want to eat more calories in the morning then you do at night; carbs in the morning and afternoon, and protien all day long.

dso... it is effective to do things that way..

i started off at 246 and went all the way down to 155 and now im at 172(by choice and some mass building)

my targets were like this...i have a busy job so i ate a good bit and did plenty of cardio..

6-10...800 cals
11-4..800 cals
5-10-800 cals

2400 calorie was basically what i did when i was my strongest at 180 lbs... but i started doing too much cardio..

so yes, to answer your question it is effective..
