Hi, I'm just curious if Allthewhey protein powders will put fat on more? I know a guy at work has been using Protein powders for a couple months now and he's really getting to be big. Jello big. Young kid too. I don't know if that's because he's eating bad foods or if it's the protein powder he's using. I don't add muscle on easy and was thinking of trying one of All thewhey's products but DO NOT want to gain any fat weight, just Muscle weight. Thanks for you're help.

I'm failry certain that ATW is a lower carb protein that is good 'stacked' with other foods. I would venture to say that the rest of his diet blows and that is what is causing the problem.

Protein powder doesn't make you fat, excess calories make you fat.
I 'll bet this guy convinced himself he was "bulking" and ate 4000+ calories a day without the proper nutrition / workout to support a clean bulk.

Sounds like the kid has no idea what he's doing.

Maybe he thinks that by taking a lot of protein powder he will get ripped?

Either that or he's blending his proten powder with Krispy Kremes and then chases that with PWO pizza.

I have to share. During xmas this year, I visited my girlfriend's parents. Her brother came over, and we both noticed he had gained some weight (and not the good kind :-). We asked him about this and he told us he was taking weight gainer. I asked him what his workout routine was, and he told me he wasn't working out... At this point I laughed, and asked why he would do such a thing. He seemed to think this would get him ripped. He told me the fat would be converted to muscle! So, I give you exhibit A proving some people think this is the case.
