Dear forum members,

I've got a question... I'm cutting for a while now and my results are superb. All my weights & reps keep increasing as well as my strenght.

But at my weekly weigh-in my weight is going down with 0.5 / 1 kg a week. But i'm getting stronger each week.

What should I do, keep eating like this or increase my food intake (i still want to lose body fat)

Thanks a lot

it sounds like you're doing just what you want to.. losing fat and building muscle... if your strength is increasing along with reps & weights your probably not losing muscle, so your weight going down is most likely fat. better than weighing yourself, you should get your body fat checked once or twice a month to more acurately judge your progress ;-)

I think the same thing is happening to me, Barthezz. I stay at the same weight, yet my body is still shaping down, I see more muscle, and I can lift heavier weights. So yes, I'm sure it can happen.

I have been loosing maybe 1/2 lb at most the last couple of weeks, but still going higher on the lifts, and seeing something new in the mirror each week.

I am adding a meal back to my day however, since it has become too easy to eat the few calories that had me dropping 1+ lb a week just a few weeks ago. Oh that wonderful adaptable metabolism...

I would say if you continue to be happy with your progress, keep at it. If not, look at your diet and/or workouts and change it up a bit.

Depends on what you want, really. Do you want to lose weight or gain muscle?

If your goal is to lose weight, you might work less on the lifting and more on the cardio. If you want to gain muscle -- sounds like you're doing it, but you might add more nutrition to really gain the weight -- your muscles should really grow faster, then. If you want to do both at the same time -- sounds to me like you're right on target, no need to change.
