How long do you guys give a new diet/exercise regime before changing caloric input? e.g. if you're trying to gain weight, how long should you wait before increasing calories if nothing is happening?

If you're not used to tracking diet, six to eight week intervals are what worked for me, initially. As I became more comfortable, four week increments are what I have gone by. Trick is to document what you do in good detail so you can make an educated evaluation.
