I emailed a Pharmacist friend of mine at Pharmacist's Ultimate Health and asked his opinions on creatine and 6-oxo, just thought I'd post his response... not much new info really, but it's nice to hear a neutral and honest opinion from a pharmacist. He answers questions rather quickly and you can do so from their website for free.

Chris:
Creatine is a substance the body uses to help muscles contract with more force. This allows them to become stronger and grow larger, the latter also being due to some water retention within the muscle. It is important while on creatine to continue to workout, and to keep well hydrated.

The compound 6-oxo is still more propaganda than it is science. It is claimed to be a mild aromatase inhibitor, meaning it blocks an enzyme responsible for estrogen production. The theory is less estrogen and more testosterone means a leaner and more muscular physique. I would recommend caution if considering 6-oxo as we really don't know enough about potential interactions and side effects. Hope this information helps.

Cool post, thanks man.

Fair enough too on the 60X0. I think his thoughts on it are mostly centered around people just using 60X0 by itself; I'd be interested (just for the sake of learning) in his thoughts on PH or AAS users using 60X0 as part of their PCT.

I know what you mean...

I'm not going to max out on it, probably 2 a day for 1 week, then 3 per day which will give me about a 22 day cycle. Then I'll be off of it for 2 weeks or more... if it helped, I will do another cycle, if not I'll be done.

I've heard before bed is the best time to take it, but what I don't know is if that's for morning workouts or if it doesn't matter.

Sort of a moot point now, since PHs have been legally banned.

It's a moot point for those who want to take PHs, yes, but that's why I said "just for the sake of learning." :) Even if they were legal I don't think I'd want to take them (scary). I was just curious that's all.

Kinda funny isn't it? You take one thing (PH) to do something, then go off and take another thing (60X0) to return things to normal levels.

I've read pages and pages of threads about 6-OXO and the only 2 things a couple people reported were:

Lack of sleep/Odd dreams
Acne
Increased sex drive

It all comes down to searching for a magic bullet that doesn't exist.
Find something heavy, pick it up, put it back, pick it up, repeat as necessary...

Yet... ;)

Heck, people were saying the same thing about lifters using creatine when it first came out... now look, you'd be hard pressed to find many on here that aren't using creatine.
