I was reading through men-fitness uk mag and saw advertising, maximuscles new supplement product for 2005 -a Power yogurt called "Yogomax" Its claims--calcium rich, Low temp ION Exchange cross filterted enhanced high protein yogurt, enhanced with natural vitaman E, low in saturated fat, high in Flaxseed oil and Salmon Fish oils, L glutamine and a fat burning chemical compound taken from organic brazilian grapefruits called "Pectin lemefazin" using the latest laser guided filtration techniques. It claims to be the most natural fatburning supplement ever created, lab tested and proven to build lean muscle and raise metabolism. Has anyone else seen this? on got any views??

I agree... lab results, survey results, and any other such claims can be VERY scewed to what they are trying to sell in thier advertisment, it generally can't be trusted. Of course they're going to try to 'claim' that they have the new wonder food.. and why? because they want you to buy it... but they usually won't tell you the parameters of thier studies or their surveys so that you don't know that they only asked certain people or only studied under certain conditions, etc.

"low temp ION exchange cross filterted enhanced high protein..."
"chemical compound taken from organic brazilian grapefruits..."
"laser guided filtration techniques..."

Sounds too much like exotic advertising buzz words to me to be the real thing..

laser guided? So theres a 10% chance that the yogurt will have missed the packaging, and you'll end up with an empty pot?

A 'fat-burning yoghurt'?

I'd love to know the point at which mankind became so exceptionally gullible and desperate.

They now also have a fat burning milk!

You pour 30 gallons in your bath tub and bathe for approximately 2 hours each day for a week, and you can lose a lot of adipose tissue. The milk seeps it's way underneath your skin and eats away fat!

No exercise needed!!

If they're using lasers on the grapefruits to get the Pectin Lemefazin out, then it's hardly the "most natural supplement ever created." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would be more natural to make the yogurt without the lasers.

Not that laser-like light emissions don't occur in nature, they just rarely naturally intersect with grapefruits or dairy products.

What, by the way, are they trying to ION filter out of the yogurt? Did they get it from chlorinated cows or something? Did they accidentally spill a bunch of iron filings into the vats? What gives?

I work in a laser lab at school. I took a container of yogurt in to the lab to see what all the fuss is about. Let me tell you, the abililty to use lasers for guided filtration is way overhyped. there is a lot of spattering. Cleaning it up burns fat though.

 I agree. Where is the laser grocery store where all the food is somehow affected by lasers? I would shop there. Or maybe if not just lasers, all the food could either be affected by lasers, rocket-packs, or ninjas.
