I am cutting and usually do cardio after I lift in the evening. I am planning on doing cardio in the morning/weights at night now and am wondering if I should drink my shake before or after my morning cardio session. I usully add some glutamine to my shakes, should I add it to my morning shake or my evening shake or both???

If you are doing cardio in the morning, take a protein shake with glutamine right after. You do not want to spike your insulin at this time, so no dextrose, just protein.

After your workout with weights in the evening however, you want to spike your insulin so go with a whey/dextrose shake.

if your going to do fasted cardio, make it low-intensity, and no more than 45mins

if you wanna do med-intensity you can have a good breakfast 2-3hours beforehand (sort of "semi-fasted") if you have time, although having a regular pre-workout meal wont matter

after cardio have a regular meal, lean protein and carbs, you can wait 45mins if you REALLY want, but i'd worry about other things before that
