I just started doing HIIT cardio a few days ago (don't worry, I'm going to start weight training soon, as well). As I've never really exercised before, it's been a challenge. The first day I made it 7 minutes...the second day I made it 11 minutes...and tonight I made it 15 minutes. I already feel much better, energy-wise. I mean, I already had a lot of energy before, but I just feel better overall now. I'm so glad I found this webpage and was motivated enough to make the life-altering decision to get in shape and stay in shape. Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone who posts here, because it's truly inspiring watching others transform and extremely helpful to have people to answer questions or share ideas with...so again, thank you. This place is great.

Great Job on starting out. You will find that the more you workout, the better you will feel and the more addicting it will become. :)

Definitely the hardest part is getting started. Once I started I began looking forward to and craving my exercise. When the holidays came around and a week went by, then 2 then 3....well dont let that happen b/c before you know it, it's been a month since your last workout!
Gotta love the high from HIIT! :)

I've gotten to the point that I get grouchy and annoyed if someone or something makes me miss a workout -- I love it and I love how I feel afterward!
