Yesterday my mum bought a jar of fish oil tablets.
I started taking them this morning. Took 1 just after breakfast and will have one after dinner. What are the benefits of taking fish oil? what does it do etc.?

6g of EPA/DHA. So if the pills contain 300mg of EPA/DHA then you need 20 a day.

Fish oil is great.
Fish oil:
It will help balance essential fatty acids, give your brain building blocks to make neuro-transmitters, it can ease depression and help with ADD. It will improve your cholestoral profile and reduce your blood stickiness. Improve your skin tone and reduce inflammation in joints. Essential fatty acids during pregnancy will help mylenate nerve sheaths.
Be sure you buy fish oil that is purified- removed heavy metals, pesticides, any other crap thats in our water. We buy Carlsons Fish Oil. It is lemon flavored and theres not hint of "fishiness".
Anybody ever had cod liver oil and it tasted horrible and fishy? Youve eaten old fish oil :tu:
