Has anyone tried the Doctor's CarbRite Diet bars made by Universal? I've been looking for a protein bar that isn't packed with fat since I started working out. Frankly, I need something at work to eat in the late afternoon before going to the gym. The flavor they have the stats for on the above link is S'mores, and it has 4g fat, 2g saturated. Today I got one Chocolate Brownie and one Cinnamon Bun, which both have just 1g saturated fat. They all seem to have 21g protein. This is (seemingly) the healthiest bar out there. Oh yeah, they're also sugar free. Is there something I'm missing with these bars? It seems like one of these an hour and a half before the gym would be perfect for me, and I just want to get some feedback and see what you guys think. Thanks!

I make a sandwhich and put it in a container and throw it in my backpack in the morning. Once class is over I gobble it down then go do my workout at the college gym. It's either a sandwhich or a protein bar and to me sandwhich tastes better.

I bought a box of Optimum Nutrition fudge brownie protein bars and they are awesome. I actually just placed another order for another box of fudge brownie, a box of blueberry muffin and a box of peanut butter crunch. They may have more fat and carbs than you're looking for, but you can't beat the taste.

Mmmmmmmm the EAS bars are the BOMB!! I eat the Advant Edge ones. My absolute favorite is the Strawberry Chocolate Mousse. It reminds me of a charleston chew. The chocolate chip brownie is very good too. Actually they all are. Every time I eat eat one I have to re-read the nutritional information to remind myself that I am not cheating. I LOVE THESE BARS!!! :spaz:

these all look really high in sat fat, i barely eat 2-3g sat a day usually.

Also they're so expensive here in the UK, usually see them all for around £1.50 each, which is a hell of a lot for a snack bar
