any comments here? concepts ? ideas?
i imagine 3 times would show a bit better results than twice, but three is really a lot. i do Max-OT for everything else, so i work those muscles just once a week

I work my abs once a week. I work them hard, with weights, doing no more than 10 reps per set. I think that will build more muscle volume than 50 unweighted crunches.
Also, no matter how hard you work your abs you won't see them until you get to a sufficiently low body fat level. So no need to obsess about your abs now. And they're a muscle after all. Give them time to rest so that they can grow.
If you MUST work your abs at least twice a week maybe do weighted crunches and leg lifts one day; and then work your obliques on alternate days.

Exactly! If you want to see your abs faster, focus on your diet.

You're doing MAX-OT, so do what their documentation tells you to do for abs.
