Ok, so here we go.

We have our number of daily allowances on calories which in turn gives us our overall grams of protein, carbs and fat.

What ratio do you follow PER MEAL?!

Keeping in mind that most people don't eat carbs before they go to bed, etc or don't eat carbs when they train...

Like the cadbury's cream egg ad goes, 'how do you eat it?'

Starting this past week I try to keep both carbs and protein in every meal now. I'm not sure if it made much of a difference for me, I actually only lost 1 lb this week but I did drop some BF. I've driven myself nuts for month's now researching and a month re-evaluating my diet. I have spent hours a day planning meals, researching nutrition and reading contradictary articles. I've decided to take a break for a while and just keep a count of calories and watch my carb/protein intake. The easiest way for me to do it is to make sure I balance them with each meal. I usually run close to the 40/40 or 50/30 on carb/protein and then include some good fat sometime during the day. For me the fat is the hardest thing to include.

Is anyone trying the Eating for Life/Body for Life method of not counting calories and just eating portions? Theory is if you stick with appropriate portion amounts of the right food your calories should stay in check. I'm still tracking them but as I learn more and more I get a lot better feel of how much I should be eating.
