I am currently adding up what I eat on a chart.
Last night for Valentines, we ended up going out to eat.
I ate a Chicken and pasta dish.
After a movie (50 1st dates) and an intresting drive home (followed a drunk until the cops came and arrest him) I got home.
When I got home i was feeling sick and hurled up everything I ate...
So my question, as stupid as it sounds is: Should I count that meal???

It may not be scientific, but I wouldn't count anything that went out the entrance instead of the exit

Im not sure about this, but Ive heard that bulimics still ingest some caloric value from whatever theyve eaten. I dont know, Ive just heard that.

Unless you do this on a regular basis, the +/- 150 calories or whatever on one day doesn't really matter and shouldn't alter your fitness goals in the slightest.

From biology class we learned that fats aren't broken down until the small intestine. Proteins are partially broken down in stomach, and carbs partially in the mouth. So depending on how long it was until you ejected the contents of your stomach, you might want to count some of the carbs and protein and none of the fat. Funny question, btw, made me "LOL". :claplow:

Yeah I've studied Bulimia Nervosa and they do ingest some of the food they later throw up, thats why a lot of Bulimics look like normal people as opposed to Anorexia sufferers. Its because of this normal appearance that they are able to hide it for so long, and when they finally get treatment a lot of the damage is done. A friend of mine suffered bulimia for years without anyone knowing it. Shes eating better now but her esophagus has deteriorated because I throwing up so many times. Unfortuantly many times it leads to esophogeal cancer (I think thats the term). Anyway just though I'd share that.
