I've done about as much research as I could on the Internet about this supplement lately, and have found mixed reviews. At one end some "experts" are saying it is harmful, because of results they found on lab rats. On the other extreme are some "experts" that say their studies found people lost fat faster when taking it. I'm curious if anyone here takes chromium picolonate, and if you think it makes any difference? I've taken it in the past, but I really can't say if it does make a difference or not. Thoughts?

A couple of years ago I researched this and even bought a bottle. I then read that its possible that it messes with your DNA or something like that. :p The jury was still out so I figured the risk outweighted the benefit.

I wouldnt take the risk if I were you, its one of those supplements that might be handy but that you could easily do without, just my 2 cents.

Not worth it. Supposedly it helps balance out your insulin levels. Lots of diet pills have them. I even heard an ad on TV for the "only multi vitamin that promotes weight loss," and the only thing extra it had was green tea and chromium.
