OK - I'm starting over today... I joined these forums last January and really managed to lose some weight and gain some muscle in the 1st six months of the year. However after some holidays and some changes at home I lost sight of my goals and slacked off in the last half of the year.

Starting again today I am back in the game. I weighed myself today at the gym and although I am not back at my starting weight of last year (211lbs) I have put on a lot over the festive period and am now back up to around 202lbs. I was at around 185lbs in June last year....gonna try and get back there as soon as possible and surpass what I achieved before.

Started slow today (1st day back at work as well) so just ate clean all day (apart from the last remaining chocolate in the house from Christmas after dinner... had to get it out of the way !) and went to the gym for 23mins HIIT cardio and some treadmill work to help my dodgy knee. Gonna hit back on the weights next week.

Sorry this is extremely dull reading... just need something to keep me motivated so I don't quit this time! Failure is not, as they say, an option. Right, gonna go to bed and dream about whey..mmmm nice.

(By the way I'm 25 and 6'4" tall)

Another day back in the game.. all good so far. Ate clean again today and got down the gym for some HIIT cardio, some treadmill work and some crunches and leg raises.

Still easing back into this so still taking it relatively easily. Back into it fully on Monday... worked out my new Max OT routine based on the ones I thought benefited me most last year, looking forward to feeling the burn again.

May start logging my calories again next week as well (but then again may not as it was a bit of a ballache and as I pretty much eat the same things every day, there doesn't seem much point).

Started taking weekly pictures again last night, compared last nights with the last one I took back in June... not good. I've got a long way to go before I'm back where I was! Easy now.

Had a good week...ate clean all week and went to the gym every day for cardio. Gonna take it up a notch tomorrow and get back on the weights, looking forward to it - although I'm sure I'll be lifting less than I was the last time I was training properly (around summer last year).

One thing I did mess up on though was drinking - I drank on Thursday (although only 2 bottles of beer) and friday and saturday...however this is one area I'm not gonna cut out - although it will hinder my goals somewhat, there's no point denying myself everything that I enjoy... anyways, here's to another clean week - should start seeing some results reasonably soon if last year is anything to go by. easy now.

Gym was really busy yesterday - gonna switch up my routine so I don't lift on Mondays, it's just too busy on Mondays and I can never get the right weights or a free bench. Makes more sense to lift on Saturday instead anyway as it's quietest at the weekend (previously only did cardio on
Saturdays).

Ate clean all weekend and yesterday, although I probably overate on Sunday, but did get some cardio in instead of it being a rest day so don't feel too guilty. Back on the lifting tonight, arms this evening - gonna be tough I should imagine as it's been a while. Will get back on the whey as well, not been rocking it this week as haven't been lifting.

Feeling pretty positive about it now - reckon in about 2 months will have lost most of the fat, and should then be able to concentrate on building muscle....looking forward to it! Not gonna quit this time!

Man, my arms an chest are pretty sore - I only did maybe half of my new routine this week just to ease myself back into the lifting, and can already feel the benefit, good to feel it again, been too long.

Diet's been clean all week so still feeling pretty positive. Was a bit slack on monday and tuesday when I drank some wine - but haven't had (or gonna have) any cheat meals so I guess it's OK. Will blatantly drink tonight and tomorrow night, but I'll try and limit it.

Cardio and legs tonight. Gonna hit it up pretty hard tomorrow and do some HIIT on the bike, 30 mins on the treadmill and my back workout which is the biggest set of exercises I do all week. Should be good - just hope it's not too busy.

Found this machine in town yesterday which measures your height, weight, bodyfat %age and BMI. SO took the test and the results are:

Height: 197cm/6'5.6"
Weight: 92.7kg/204.37lbs
Body Fat %age: 16.7%
BMI: 23.9

So gonna do it again in a month and see what progress I'm making...

Not updated for a while - had some internet issues at home and been pretty busy at work..

Anyways...all still going good - been ill these past few days so not been to the gym since friday, but still eating clean and feeling good. But have missed not going to the gym. Looking forward to tomorrow - gonna go as feeling better now.

A week to go till I do the body test again and see if there has been any change... not sure what it's gonna say... should see some difference though - clothes certainly feeling looser...gotta keep it up!

Not updated for ages.... but still going good. Cut my daily calories back even further, and have ramped up my cardio... knee seems to be holding out OK.

Reckon I've lost about 10 pounds over the last 2 months which is OK but not as fast as I would have liked. But now with calories cut back further I think the weightloss should speed up.

Overall, all good, still feeling positive. Only blip is the weekends when I always drink and diet seems to slide a bit, but if I make up for it in the week I think this will be OK. :tu:
