Hey ppl. Very simple question. Im switching up my Low Intensity Cardio with some High Intensity tomorrow. Any suggestions for what i should eat before and after this workout? Should i have a F+P meal after, or a C+P meal, or a mix ??
As always, all ideas welcomed.

I think two small light meals will work best, with some C+P. Slow digesting fat you want to avoid I think.

HIIT should be treated like a weight session, you can ever so slightly reduce your post-WO meal if you feel like it

banana 30 minutes pre. Depending on the length and intensity of your hiit workout, i'd go for 40-80 grams of dex and 20-40 grams of protein following, depening upon your size.

i'd definatly have more than just a banana preworkout, i would mix it with some oats and a good protein source

yeah good call on that Taffer. i'd have a banana, a scoop of whey, and probably some strawberry banana yogurt mixed in. I'd also make sure to consume this atleast an hour before hand do to the low to moderate gi rating.
If you wanted to eat sooner to hit, have a higher gi carb.
if you want to avoid pwo with hit, moderate carb 30 minutes before, sugary drink during, and a moderate carb when done.

actually i was thinking something more substantial like 1/2-1cup oats, fruit and lean protein
i wouldnt avoid PWO HIIT, bad idea :)

I do HIIT on an empty stomach. I still have tons of energy...
