Just had a Valentine's cheat meal today:

"Steak Dianne" from Cheesecake factory...about 10-12 oz of steak "medallions" coated in black pepper and mushrooms. OMG, that was the best cheat meal ever! I don't even want to know how much fat and calories were in it, but at least it was packed full of protein! :) I'm going to try someone's suggestion and do 45 min of moderate intensity cardio tomorrow on an empty stomach to burn off some of that guilt :o .

I probably shouldnt have posted this in the Fat Loss forum, but what the heck. I felt like sharing an episode of indulgence with you guys :D .

I had an apple, walnut and feta salad, filet mingnon battered in a cheese type of dough with shitakke mushrooms and rice pudding with almonds in it and a nice liquored up coffee drink - not too bad portion wise so I felt ok after...plus it is the first time I cheated since starting 3 weeks ago - and the sad part is...I wasn't even looking forward to cheating but it sure did taste good!

Got in a good workout in the afternoon - darn rain forced it indoors, but oh well. Ate pretty light all day so the dinner damage wouldn't be too bad. For Dinner: mixed greens salad, some French bread w/ olive oil, Salmon steak (about 8oz) and some baked red potatos. Desert was Chocolate Fondue and fruit -- and some assorted chocolate candies.

It was a bit more calorie wise than I was optimally hoping for, but I feel that it was not too overboard.

Valentines didn't go so well here. Caved in and had fast food burger (Wendys) for first time since beginning of January. Also had some homemade cookies. Will just accept it as a "cheat day" and continue to fight the fight! :o

My cheat meal consisted of 3 pieces of pepperoni lovers pizza from pizza hut and 3 breadsticks. Not a lot of food for 1400 calories. OUCH.

It hurts to know that I could've eaten good food all day and barely gotten that many calories.

I sampled my daughter's valentine candy throughout the day and had a coke. Heck of a sugar intake but I actually lost weight yesterday. Kind of scared me since I have had a steady 2lb loss each week. Yesterday I dropped over a pound in one day. It's ok, I am sure it will be back in the morning. :)
