Should I be eating something before I go to sleep? If so, what should this meal consist of? I'm already eating 6 meals per day. I finish my weight training at about 7pm M/W/F and have a whey shake right after. I eat my last meal at about 8pm which consists of 1 cup of corn and 6oz of chicken.
Also, should I stop eating "no salt added" canned corn in favor of something else?
Thanks for any info.

Eat something with a slow release of protein, I would skip the corn and maybe make the switch to a baked sweet potato or maybe just a small portion of oats. Of course have some chicken breast or can of tuna with those carbs. I know some people just cut out carbs all together and eat cottage cheese. I don't do that though.

So my 8pm meal should be the last one of the day?

It depends on what time you go to bed. So if you don't go to bed til 1am then of course you would want to eat something around 11:30 pm or so. You just want your body to have some nutrients for the 8 hrs you don't eat.

There were several threads from about 4 or 5 months ago wherein Cottage Cheese was recommended as a last meal of the day because it released protein over 8 hours, instead of the usual 4 hours; thereby thwarting muscle-decay during your last 4 hours of sleep.
It was said that cottage cheese has a different kind of protein than what you find in most protein shakes and meat products.

yeah, i was also going to suggest cottage cheese....seems popular as a final meal for the day. I have a food processor that I want to play with...thinking of combining cashews, cottage cheese, some whey powder and blending it into a cheesecake-like paste, then putting it on a oat "crust" (kind of like a healthy pie :p ) who knows how that will turn out, but i'll let you all know...I know this though...if it's good, i'll be havin me a slice of that before bed on lifting days for sure!
