I have been trying to lose fat for about 6 months now and I've lost a lot of weight, but some muscle in the process. I started working out in June and was 205 pounds. I'm currently 174 but still have some fat around my midsection that really annoys the sh*t out of me. I wasn't following any specific plan, I just started eating 6 times a day and checking calories, but I have been very dedicated. I recently figured out that I was eating too little calories and have begun to eat more, 2000 cal/day with a 40/40/20 ratio. I do HIIT 4 times/week and heavy weight training at home. I have decided to join a gym because I have outgrown my home gym and I have a baby on the way. I think I finally got my things in order and hopefully I'll be able to see my abs in about 2 months. I stumbled onto this site a few months ago and I have incorporated many of the things that I have read in these forums into my daily routine and they have helped me a great deal. I visit this site every day and it really keeps me motivated. I want to thank everybody who posts useful info about diet, cardio, weight training, etc... for helping people like myself get a clue about fitness.

Just wanted to share my story. :d_smile:

I find these forums to be very helpful educationally and motivationally. I agree. Thanks for reminding us. Keep us updated.
