Hey there!

The word "fitness" on your site has three S's......(Fitnesss)

I'm an English major, so it was killing me to not say anything, hahahah.

A buddy system sounds good, but for me personally, I do what I have to do goal-wise for ME! I feel the power to change/mold/etc., has to be from dedication to yourself and your goals. I do understand the support factor though, just speaking for what I utilize as motivation.

Hey Chris,

You sound like my perfect partner!

I am your same age, and exactly 201.3 today.

I have 40-45lbs to lose down to 155-160 range depending on BF at the time. Likewise I would like to gain some lean mass in the process ending up around 165-170.

Wanna partner up? Send me a PM.

I'd like to join this convoy if I can.

I, too, am 24 y/o. I'm 5'9, and weigh 203 lbs. I've got about 25% b.f.

I'd like to get to about 170 - 175 with a 10% b.f. ratio.

For now I'm planning to drop 5 lbs / month.

Is this the start of a challenge?

For the record, I do want to say that I think this is really neat that already 3 people are going to partner up and work together.

Congrats fellas!!!

Hey guys i got similar goals. I'm 22 and currently at 226lbs, started at 233lbs 2 weeks ago. Right now i'm just losing the weight and gradually building up my aerobic exersise to get my heart and lungs healthier. I'm looking to get down to between 180-190lbs and then to gain lean mass. Pretty much like John Stone did.

So i'm 7lbs to my target of around 40-50lbs.

Hey all,

A group would be even better, what would be the best way to keep up with eachother.

From a format/maintenance perspective we could start a thread in the Challenges forum.

How about we go for 12 weeks and see who can drop the most body fat percentage within that time period? We can do weekly photos, and list our body measurements every 4 weeks. We can also list our meal/exercise/general plan to meet our goal.

Starting Monday, January 3, and going until Monday, March 28. (12 weeks, I think).

Lemme know what you think I, and we can open the thread if it sounds good to everyone.

A John Stone 4-way.... schweet!

Sounds great!

So far we have myself, Velocity, and Chris definitely signed up.

Based on what Chris and Velocity said do you want to join up grooble?

If so, send me a PM as I'll be posting this in the challenges forum later today.

I will add my numbers this afternoon. I just ran them via mybodycomp and it told me I am 26.7% BF.

Velocity is off to the gym already (I'm not starting til tomorrow) so he said he'd post his stats later as well.

Thanks for starting the challenges thread!

Count my in also. Right now I have pink eye and as soon as this clears up I am trying to lose about 30lbs. I'm 6'5 and about 245, would like to get down to about 210 or 215.
