Hi everyone!

Started out at 166lbs and am now 144lbs. Still got another 10-15 to go but I am finding it difficult to lose now...very slow. I keep track of my diet with software and am supposed to be eating 1450 calories to loose weight but ... it isn't happening and even at that many calories ... I am starving! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!..

Hi Danielle,

Congrats on losing 22lbs :claphigh: Your looking pretty damn good, I'd say your in the final stages of your tranformation. How much mroe do you want to lose?

Keep it up :jumping:

Danielle- Wow! Impressive transformation. I've found it helps for me to look at my before photo before I begin the day's workout. Looking at how fat I was (274 lbs. when I started, with a high of 290 in October, 2000) tends to keep me on track. I never want to be where I was again.

Keep up the transformation. You're making awesome progress! :tucool:

Hi Marcus...

Thanks for your kind words. :o

I am hoping to 'see' some muscle soon and definition. I feel this wonderful muscle under my layer of fat but .. I still can't see it. I hate that! I figure another 10-15lbs or so. I've been the same weight now for almost 10 weeks so I've gotta do something differently soon or I'll go CRAZY!!

:bb: Sounds like your body got used to your routine! Maybe changing your cardio or weight regimine would help? I mean, use the stair stepper instead of the bike, or whatever. Something to keep your body guessing :)

Good job! Keep it up! :tu:

Whoa. Big difference there! Just tweak your routine to get past your plateau and you'll be back on track. Lovely house, by the way.

Hi Danielle, it's great to see you made it to the forums!

You are looking awesome, I'm proud of you.

Can you post your diet and exercise routine? Maybe they need some tweaking. Also Daveo's suggestion is a good one. Our bodies are very adaptive, and sometimes throwing it for a loop can help "shock" us out of our plateaus. Don't get discouraged, we've all gone through plateaus before. You'll break through it and lose those last 10-15 pounds. :)

Nice job! You're looking great!

You'll probably get a lot of good tips once you've posted your diet and exercise regimen. Don't be afraid to try something counter-intuitive, like even eating more, or mixing up your ratio of carbs, protein and fat. You'll break that plateau for sure! :tu:

I would change the diet. Maybe cut from around 200-300 calories a day. The body gets used to everything you have to change every now and then. I have lost around 10 pounds in a month....

I would rather change the routine then cut out 200 calories. You are not going to belive it, but I found that I have to eat more to lose weight now then I had to when I started 2 years ago. Muscle needs fuel to burn fat.

Those 22 pounds are a big difference! It looks like you lost 22 pounds of pure fat. Have you been checking your BF% to be sure, I'd be interested to know, because I am having trouble losing only fat mass. I assume you know the basics (like eating 6 meals, no carbs late in the day) since you are so far along. You'll have to post more info for some advice. Keep up the awesome work!
