At http://www.burnthefat.com or http://www.burn-the-fat.com/home.html

Is this worth to get for a beginner? Ive been reading online alot lately and been sorting out things that I am sure are pure nonsense and things that im sure are close to the truth and a bigger part that are somewhere in the middle. I just need some info on the whole fat loss / gain mass isse + some excersises etc etc - all in one place before my head blows :)

I lost about 30 pounds 2 years ago on a 1200 KCal diet a day and it left me feeling so weak and I got heavy breath just walking up some stairs when I was done - NEVER AGAIN !!! - got half of it back during a holdiday also :(

Its hard to tell from the website you linked to if its any good because they arent all that specific about the techniques and methods used.

IMO you shouldnt have to pay for the information anyway. Just look at what John did and follow his example. Although there is a lot of conflicting info around, the basics are usually pretty straight foward and backed-up.

Read everything on this site, http://www.fatlosstips.com/ and http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/index.html and get used to using the search function.

The BFFM links are straight from the www.fatlosstips.com website.

I bought the BFFM book several months ago after I first found John's site and his referral to fatlosstips.com.

In general, the book preaches the same tenets that are valued here on JSFF: goal setting, clean food, weight training, cardio. But it does go into a lot of detail (which I, personally, need) about each section. It also explains macronutrients and meal timing quite well.

In my opinion it's a good book, and is quite motivating. It also helps "round out" and consolidate the information found here.

Burn the fat, Feed the muscle, is a great book. I bought it 3 months ago, and I'm very happy with the results. It is very informative and goes into great detail. It is worth every penny. You can also read some of Tom Venuto's stuff at, www.fitren.com
