For optimal fat loss, what is the latest time I should be consuming a lot of carbs? Is there an actual time or a certain amount of time prior to going to sleep? What's the deal with this? I always hear "timing" is important but I don't know what that means.

Thanks!

If you work out in the evening, have a banana or apple immediately after a workout with a protein shake. Other than that, I personally do not consume any carbs (other than veggies) after dinner. I try to take the majority of my carbs with breakfast and meal 2. This way they are completely consumed throughout the day.

its usually a split.. 40% carbs before workout.. 60% after

50/50 is also fine

you need them most after a workout to help rebuild muscle
