Awwwww, that's so sweet!! My hunny and me only get to see each other on weekends, so we'll be.... busy. ;)

EATING PASTA!!!!!!

I have been looking forward to this allllllll week.

We generally don't get each other stuff anymore. We just spend time together, since it's a rare commodity for us. Or we buy a joint present that we both want.

Like 3 1/2 weeks in Europe starting April 1st. Woot!!

Happy Valentine's Day everybunny!

I will be buying absolutely jack diddly. Mind you, it would help if I actually HAD someone to share my time with LOL. The one thing being a single full time dad can make you realise is how to appreciate what time you can get with someone if they're special enough.

I'm still looking, and I'm sure that the task of looking will be made considerably easier when I get to 8% bodyfat. HAHAHA!

Happy valentines all, I hope you value it truly!

This'll be my firsy single V-Day in the last five years. I'm not sure my checking account will know how to respond.

My plans:

1) Change my oil
2) Hit the driving range
3) Restring my violin

John is so sweet!
First of all- he pretended that he forgot about Valentine's Day!!

Then tonight he gives me a big white stuffed gorilla holding an I love you pillow and a box of chocolates (yes, I said chocolate :) ) and I thought ...oh how sweet , he did remember... and then I saw the gorilla was wearing a red jade and gold bracelet around it's foot! It's just gorgeous!!

Thank you honey, I love you!

Unfortunately, my valentine is 12,000 miles away right now. But I did send her an ecard.

Nice gifts Lisa, you didn't mention what you got him.

I got him a stuffed fuzzy Bear with a recorded message, which he erased accidently before he heard it. LOL ...and a card :)
We had a great dinner and just spent the evening together.

My wife and I had a VERY romantic conversation about our lack of funds for buying each other V-day gifts....we ended up having a cup of tea and congratulating ourselves for at least being married :o

It may sound sad - but it was really ok :tu:

What a weekend! Friday night when I got home from work we stayed up late playing Baldur's Gate II (which we'd just bought). Saturday morning we played BGII until he went and got our big ol' cheat meal for lunch- 4 Cheese Ravioli with Pesto Alfredo Sauce, Bruschetta, the works. After which we played more BGII. Till dinner time, where we had bread slices with pasta sauce and cheese. Okay, so it was a 2 cheat meal kinda day. More BGII. Sunday he had to work part of the day, so I cleaned the entire house. When he got home we caught up on all our favorite TV shows on the ReplayTV. Big crab and veggie lunch. More BGII! Then we danced in our living room for about an hour, then, you guessed it, MORE BGII! And of course today, after breakfast.... BGII right up until the minute I had to leave for work. One of the best weekends I've had in a looooong time. The best way to celebrate VDay is doing something you really enjoy, together.

Andi, John and I used to play that all the time- well the first Baldur's Gate, that is. I loved that game! I had forgotten all about it :)

andi, i just finished Baulders Gate 2. That game was awesome. I did co-op with a friend. What characters you guys using? I was the dwarf and my friend was the necromaster. Clocked in 12 hours and 26 minutes at the end of it all.
edit:// we didnt do it as a valentines thing....just to clear that up

Guy walks into Victor's secret, " Hey victor, I just blew the a** out of these, can you help me?"
