I was going to order a 2lb tub to try it out and help give john's site a few $$$ but there is no security on the credit card page of their site! No encryption or security certificates are on the credit card entry page.

EDIT: Sorry but I missed that fact that allthewhey had 2 options: One for secure and one for non-secure ordering. I dont think its a very good idea to even have the option of a non-secure order since it could open someone up to fraud, but I understand it might be neccessary for people with older/incompatible browsers. I ordered a 2lb tub of the isolate and I will post my review of it here(and not jump to conclusions this time! grr too much coffee  )

John, just read about your ongoing shoulder issues. I work in the medical field(not an MD) but I would suggest you see an MD that specializes in athletes. Hopefully, your insurance will allow this. There are many options besides surgery. Surgery might be a great fix(depending on the particular pathophysiology) but should always be a last resort.

good luck

That is extremely shoddy and unsafe for online ordering.

sorry, but I wont be ordering from a site with no securityFirst of all, I get the same amount of money ($100 per month) regardless of how many people order.

Second, they do have a secure online checkout, you just didn't see it right off the bat, and then came here and made a LOUD negative post before making sure you had your facts straight. :p

There are two buttons "Checkout" and "Secure Checkout". The non-secure checkout is provided only as a convenience for people who use browsers that don't support SSL. Everyone else should use the "Secure Checkout" button.

I'm changing the thread title to avoid confusion.

yeah i noticed the two options on the site, first time i've seen a non secure option, i think i'd rather ring them up than use that option.

Still this is a good example of "be sure before you compliment, be double sure before you criticise" :D

ooops.

Open mouth insert foot!

Ok john sorry. It just rubbed me the wrong way when I realized there was no security on the credit card page. Most pages have it built in by default for your protection.

That's okay. In some countries strong encryption illegal, so I can see why they provide the choice because they ship worldwide. Also, some employers have security policies/firewall rules that prohibit SSL traffic (so management can keep an eye on what their employees are doing on their networks. :))
