Hey everybody
Just a litttle sidenote update first. I have successfully made it through 24 straight hours without a ciggarette. :claplow:
Okay, on to the issue at hand.... Below is a link to my personal FitDay.com journal. Does this look right if I am looking to cut body fat or am I doing something wrong? Let me know please....I am on info overload!!!!
Thanks,
Sean

Thanks man,
I had a brain storm this morning be ause when I sat down at my computer I was really cravin!!!! I decide that the best way to beat the cravings were to substitute them with something else. So, since I work at home I decided to put my Swiss Ball to work. When a craving hits I get on for some form of ab exercise. Won't hurt and it gets my blood pumping a little bit and the thought of a cigarette out of mind. Seems to be working!!!

Better that than eating...
Just be careful not make quiting contingent on anything else. or visa versa. like if you stop exercising, or don't stick to your diet, don't feel like a failure and go back to smoking...You are going through some tough changes...You still have to do all the things you did before, ie computing, driving, watching tv, talking on the phone...etc and the worse for me was going out. For me I had to conciously make new associations of doing things withOUT smoking...now my brain no longer makes those connections.
Hang in there. don't cheat. You are going to be euphoric and feel empowered in a couple of weeks. I now love the inner strength I feel for taking control of at least one aspect of my life...now about this gut...I'm getting there :db:
