Alright I been reading up on other forms of resistance training. From Weight lifting to kettlebell drills to just calisthenics training to monk's training with stone balls to forms of disciplines of martial arts. To mind control to do it.

So im pondering about what exactly should I do to get the results I want. I want to drop my fat mass along with keeping most of my muscle. Currently age 20 208lbs 71inches 5foot 11inches. I want to be able to perform through fatigue and train myself for mental toughness. I want to become quicker, slimmer, stronger, musclar endurance, endurance in general and to look ripped. I want to push my limits soo much I can never doubt I can do anything. I want to act as it were impossible to fail. And know this Nothing is possible to the unwilling. I want to get 200% Is there a best way to meet this and then some?

I hope I got my question through everyones head.

-Thanks Jeff

Jeff, sounds great.

Now JUST DO IT.

There is no superior method. What's the best way to get from A to B - planes, trains, or automobiles? Depends on the individual. Find something you enjoy and that you will be consistent with, then push yourself to the limit. Don't settle for just one technique, if you like, you can try them all. Understand there is no single training that will manipulate all of the parameters you are looking for - variety will be key to train for mass, then for strength, then for endurance, etc.

Jeff - have you checked out Crossfit? From what you wrote I think you'd dig it - www.crossfit.com. Their .pdf on "What is fitness?" is pretty cool (and it absolutely reflects Jeremy's reply regarding workout variety). To give you an idea about Crossfit intensity, the Crossfit t-shirt has a picture of a deranged clown barfing. :tu:

Have you considered the Armed Services special forces and operation groups? Not only will you get fit as all hell but you will also get the mental challenge of a lifetime.

About the special forces idea.. It will DEFINITELY be the ultimate challenge, especially in willpower.. It is not the ideal way to get "fit" because you will not be able to eat healthy, and not nearly "enough" to loose weight without loosing muscle, especially during the "tryouts" Not surer how long they last in your country, but the initial phase is usually around 1 month, and after it they will force you to rest for a week, and have people forcing you to eat your meals and such. Your body will be thorougly reduced..

The focus is usually on endurance, and the mental challenge is extreme.. You will have huge ups and downs in your mental attitude during such a course. Youre about the age to enlist for something like it, and the discipline you will get is incredible. IF you have the willpower and constitution to complete a course like that over a whole year, and THEN turn to fitness training, i honestly believe there is no limit to what you can achieve! But the course itself will only make you skinny and tough :)

Sort of a ramble here, but I wanted to share my opinions on it, because I have been to such a course myself, and even though it feels like living hell at times, looking back on it it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had.
